TEMPERAMENT AND PERSONALITY
The Bichon Frise is a most attractive little dog, full of charm and very appealing. The Bichon Frise is vigorous, stylish and confident, attracting attention wherever it appears. As well, this fluffy breed is intelligent, highly attentive, and shows very well in ring completion. The Bichon greatly enjoys the comfort, company and love of his family.
The Bichon Frise puppy if he is to be fostered to his full temperament should be cuddled often and given a snugly bed of his own with some safe toys to play with. Without such displays of affection, the pup may become shy and withdrawn, much human contact is needed for the true personality of the Bichon Frise to blossom.
here is an unmistakable air of dignity about the Bichon Frise, but his noble bearing never makes this little white dog appear aloof. Instead, the Bichon especially while still a puppy, is gay, active, and bouncy. Qualities the dog retains throughout its lifetime. An interested Bichon is always curious when “meeting” new people.
